The Celebration of Caucasian Culture in Moscow to Bring Together Representatives of Various Nations
The Culture Festival of the people of the Caucasus will be held in Russian capital for the fourth time. This year the event, organized by the Russian Congress of People of the Caucasus (RKNK) with the support of the Government of Moscow and the Government of Ingushetia, is dedicated to the 100-th anniversary of the formation of the Caucasian (native) cavalry division that took part in the World War I.
On November 15, at the stage of the concert hall "Academichesky" of Russian Academy of Sciences famous dance groups and renowned artists of Southern Russia and the Caucasus will perform.
Prior to the beginning of the concert the exhibition presenting photographs, books, antique and contemporary blade weapons, national costumes, paraphernalia, household items and pieces of arts of the people living in the Caucasus will be organized in the foyer.
"Attracting public attention to the history, common past of all people living in this country will help to strengthen the link between generations and harmonization of interethnic relations", – said Chairman of the RKNK Presidium Alyi Totorkulov.
