The Inter-regional Annual Festival "The Mouse"

9 august, 2014, Myshkin


The first festival was held long ago – in 1996. It has become the starting point for the development of tourism in the small town on the river Volga.

The activities organized during the festival have attracted significant investments to the town, the tourist complex "The Mouse Chamber" has been opened, the Victory Memorial has appeared, the number of tourist attractions has increased significantly, new hotels have been built.

During the festival that contributes to the preservation of indigenous culture of the town of Myshkin and the atmosphere of merchant town annually the crafts’ fair "Myshgorod" takes place as well as ceremonial procession along the town streets, concerts, children holiday "Cat and Mouse", evening entertainment programme.
